The wine shows a medium deep ruby colour with garnet reflections. The nose is smoky, slightly reductive, needs time to open up. With aeration it reveals nuances of red and black cherries, coffee, a touch of eucalyptus and balsamic. The palate is woody, showing a lot of smoky notes, nuances of cinnamon and tobacco, with black berries in the background. The tannins are round and smooth and the finish lingers with smoky undertones.
