The nose is fruity, intense, fine grained and offers some fine blackness. There are notes of boysenberry, bright blueberry and more slightly grove, black olive combined with fine touches of violet, blackcurrant and a very discreet hint of pepper and iodine. The palate is fresh, juicy, a bit pulpy in its freshness, rightness, an acidic backbone. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh blackberry, bright blueberry and more lightly wild raspberry notes combined with fine touches of blackcurrant as well as discreet hints of tonka bean and salinity.
