The nose is powerful, spicy and offers a fine grain. It reveals notes of cassis, wild strawberry and small notes of small red berries associated with touches of olivier, laurel/varietals as well as a very discreet hint of eucalyptus and a subtle hint of pink pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, juiciness, a good definition, precision as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy/fresh cassis, crunchy/fresh raspberry and small notes of small red berries associated with fine touches of laurel, eucalyptus as well as subtle hints of pink pepper/flowers. A discreet varietal bitterness on the finish. Good length.
