The nose is fruity and racy. It reveals notes of racy minerality, blackberry and slight touches of blueberry, fleshy strawberry associated with a hint of graphite as well as a very discreet hint of gray pepper/garrigue in the background. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, gourmand, silky and offers a slight acid frame, a fine minerality, straightness as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy boysenberry, plum and slight notes of cassis associated with touches of strawberry/wild red berries as well as a subtle hint of black olive, chocolate and cardamom. Tannins are well-built. Good length and persistence on a hint of chocolate.
