The nose is fragrant, elegant and offers a lot of delicacy in its floral and lemony bouquet. It expresses notes of acacia, honeysuckle, linden (with a very subtle touch of linden honey in the background). Then, we find notes of stone fruit (crunchy white peach, apricot), citrus (lemon zest, pink grapefruit, lime, candied lemon) and a delicate hint of vanilla and hazelnut. On the palate, the wine offers freshness, precision and complexity. It expresses spicy (roasted vanilla, cumin, clove) and roasted (roasted hazelnut, toasted) notes, more pronounced than on the nose, as well as elegant floral touches (acacia, linden and more slightly – honeysuckle) and notes of stone fruit and fresh citrus (crunchy white nectarine, apricot, lemon, lemon zest, and more slightly – orange). The finish is very persistent and expresses the spicy and toasted side of the wine, associated with citrus notes and a very delicate bitterness in the background. The acidity is crunchy, lively and refreshing. A straight and chiselled wine, with lots of energy.
