Valandraud Blanc 2017 – Bordeaux Blanc

The nose is fruity, juicy, slightly tight, gourmand and offers freshness. It reveals notes of lemon zest, green apple and small notes of crunchy peach associated with a hint of citrus, white flowers, lime zest and an imperceptible touch of gray pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a fine acid frame, tension, straightness, a small incisive side, finesse, a fine unctuosity and dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh lemon and crunchy peach combined with small touches of apple, brugnon, fresh mandarin as well as a very discreet hint of pineapple (in the background) and fresh flowers. Good persistence. Acidulous persistence.
