The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers juicy and gourmand fruit after aeration, combined with fine spicy and floral aromas. It expresses notes of juicy morellocherry, crushed blackcurrant, blueberry, blackberry and crushed strawberry. There are also touches of liquorice, white pepper, a hint of crushed black plum, dried aromatic herbs and roasted meat (a very discreet touch in the background). The palate is juicy, fresh and fruity. It expresses flavors of tart red cherry, morello cherry, wild blackberry and blackcurrant, combined with a fine spicy (white pepper, liquorice) and smoky hint, notes of dried herbs and a good bitterness of cocoa. The tannins are slightly tight and dry, but have a fine grain. Good persistence in the mouth, warming, with a nice acidity, a tannic side of bird cherry, herbaceous touch of dried mint and a good bitterness.
