(Bottled in September 2019) The nose is fruity, full and offers power, a fine grain as well as elegance. It reveals notes of dried orange, dried tangerine zest and small notes of dried lemon associated with fine touches of crushed nectarine, slight hints of caramelization, toasted almonds as well as a very discreet hint of rancio, chocolate and hazelnut. The palate is fruity, elegant and offers a beautiful definition, unctuosity, fat, gourmandize, a small unctuosity, power, a fine grain, a very fine tension as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this Armagnac expresses notes of caramelized mandarin, pâtisseries and small notes of crushed mirabelle plum associated with fine touches of crushed nectarine, caramelized lemon, toasted hints, gray pepper as well as a subtle hint coffee (in the background) and rancio. Good length.
