Old Vines is composed of a variety of old sites from California that are either too small to be made into a single vineyard wine or are “new” to the Turley family. Some of them are co-planted and some other varietals found their way in the blend : Grenache, Mourvèdre, Palomino, all the muscats, etc. The total amount is still lower than the 25% allowed by AVA’s regulation. It has the estate’s concentrated flavor profile, but without the weight. It’s elegant and fresh, with a slight sweetness that mirrors the qualities of the many fruity flavors.
