The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers density, a delicious and ripe fruity material. It expresses notes of crushed blackcurrant, bigarreau cherry, red currant, strawberry and raspberry, associated with a precise mineral framework (limestone), which appears after aeration, notes of toasted hazelnut (even a more pronounced roasted side after contact with the air – toasted wood, coffee), herbaceous notes (dried mint, a hint of blackcurrant bud), liquorice, chocolate (even vanilla in the background) and blueberry. The palate is precise, fresh and tangy. On the attack, it expresses notes of ripe raspberry, blackcurrant, wild strawberry and red cherry, which are then complemented by spicy and toasted flavors (licorice, a hint of vanilla, nutmeg, toasted hazelnut, tangy dark chocolate), a herbaceous touch of fresh mint and blackcurrant bud, as well as blueberry and tanginess of blueberry. Tannins are finely tight and polished. The finish is tasty, quite persistent, with notes of ripe morello cherry, cocoa and a salivating acidity.
