Totò Navarra – Battichié 2019, Nero d’Avola – Riserva, Sicilia DOC

The nose is spicy, velvety and offers a certain depth. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, blueberry and small notes of small concentrated wild fruits, associated with fine touches of fresh pepper, as well as fine hints of sense of the place. The palate is nicely fruity, juicy, mineral and offers a certain roundness in delicacy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, creamy cherry and small notes of blueberry and chocolate, combined with fine touches of small creamy fruits, as well as discreet hints of small roasted fruits, liquorice and toasted hazelnut. Good length. The tannins are mellow and gourmand. Roundness, fine unctuosity in freshness, substance and texture.
