Torre del Falasco 2015 – Amarone della Valpolicella

The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers concentration as well as a certain power, a fine grain, intensity and a good definition. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, pulpy cassis, small notes of small wild fruits associated with touches of crushed touches, rosemary, sense of the place (local biotope) as well as hints of dry fig, sweet spices, a very fine hint of mild tobacco, nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of cedar (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, a small fat, dynamism, juiciness as well as tension, gourmandize, fullness and minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, juicy/pulpy blackberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of violet plum, dry fig as well as hints of mild tobacco, nutmeg, very discreet hints of toasted almond and nutmeg. Good length. A beautiful persistence and finish.
