The nose is fresh and mineral. It reveals notes of flowers, plum and slight touches of blackberry, blueberry associated with hints of liquorice, tobacco, rock (terroir) as well as a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, tight and offers a beautiful minerality, freshness, gourmandise, tension, precision as well as a slight straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy Quetsche plum and black cherry associated with slight hints of toasted oak, minerality as well as subtle touches of chocolate / mint (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length and good persistence. The aftertaste is slightly powerful.
