The wine shows an attractive golden colour. The nose shows a touch of varnish, nuances of dried apricots, candied lemons, orange marmalade, ginger and flower honey. The palate is luscious and rich, balanced by refreshing acidity. There is a touch of kumquat bitterness that adds to the complexity and freshness. The palate is extremely multi-layered, revealing notes of medicinal herbs, a touch of chemical, ripe tropical flavours, very precise, iodine and saline minerality. Very long finish. Good aging potential.
