The Debate – Cabernet Franc 2019, Stagecoach Vineyard – Napa Valley

The nose is pretty, velvety, airy, deep and offers concentration and precision. It reveals notes of brilliant blackberry, small bright blue fruits, and small notes of crushed blue plum, associated with hints of crushed strawberry, as well as a fine hint of cornflower and bourbon vanilla. The palate is well-built, supple, gourmand, elegant, racy and offers tension, precision, a tangy frame and gourmandise. In mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blueberry, blue plum and crushed raspberry, associated with touches of chocolate and vanilla. Nicely mellow, juicy and energetic wine. Very good persistence.
