The Debate – Cabernet Franc 2019, Sleeping Lady Vineyard – Napa Valley

The nose is elegant, precise, frank and offers a lovely grain, frank, stretched and delicate, and a sumptuous side. It reveals notes of blackberry, small brilliant blue fruits and small notes of crushed strawberry, associated with touches of vanilla, tobacco as well as fine hints of fresh blue plum. The palate is well-built, supple, elegant, gourmand and offers a tangy frame, precision, suppleness, gourmandise, silkiness, energy and a lovely brilliance and gourmandise of fruit. In mouth this wine expresses notes of blueberry, brilliant blue plum as well as fine hints of crushed strawberry, star anise, chocolate and hints of tonka bean and cocoa. Good length. Tannins are mellow and gourmand. A well-built wine.
