The nose is powerful, racy, fine and elegant. It reveals notes of creme de cassis, blackberry and slight notes of fleshy plum and crushed wild strawberry combined with slight touches of spices as well as subtle touches of violet and a very discreet hint of cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful gourmandise, a beautiful finesse, minerality, depthness as well as a fine fleshiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cassis and fleshy strawberries associated with slight touches of juicy raspberry, fleshy / sweet redcurrants as well as touches of toasted oak and sweet spices. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
