The nose is powerful and relatively concentrated. It reveals notes of barley, peat and fine hints of boxwood / juniper associated with fine touches of dried orange zest, cedar wood, spices and a touch of of sandalwood and cinnamon. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, finely gourmande and offers a nice fat, a fine freshness, unctuousity and straightness. On the palate, this Scotch Whiskey expresses notes of caramelization, caramel pear and dried orange zest associated with subtle hints of walnuts, barley as well as fine touches of honey and a very discreet hint of pâtisseries. Good length.
