The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers a small concentration, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a finesse of the intensity. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, crushed violet plum, small notes of crushed blackberry associated with small touches of crushed strawberry as well as a hint of candied red berries, prune, very discreet hints of caramelization, chocolate and toasted/nutmeg. The palate is beautifully built and offers freshness, juiciness, gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame as well as a small tension, suavity, a good definition and elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, pulpy Boysen berry, small notes of pulpy blueberry associated with small touches of juicy/pulpy quenette, crushed/pulpy red berries as well as subtle hints of violet, rose, sense of the place, a discreet hint of grilled, nutmeg and toasted. An imperceptible hint of crushed black olive (in the background) and coffee on the persistence. Good length.
