Terres de Frères 2022 – Signature – AOP Saint-Chinian

(24 months) The nose is fruity and offers brilliance as well as a certain delicacy. It reveals notes of crushed blueberry, blackcurrant liqueur and small notes of violet associated with touches of roasted small red fruits as well as hints of toast/caramelization. The palate is nicely built, fresh, supple and offers a tangy frame, precision, brilliance as well as energy. Nice freshness and nice minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackcurrant, blueberry liqueur and small notes of bright raspberry associated with touches of liquorice stick. Tannins are currently finely tight. The wine needs to be decanted. Good length. Good work on the good bitterness in the background / on the persistence.
