The wine has a pale apricot color. The initial nose is fresh, aromatic, slightly smoky, and mineral with notes of crunchy red berries. The second nose opens with a hint of smoke, but also orchard fruit. The palate is fresh, with a slight roundness on the attack and good acidity. There is fruit and chewiness with strawberry, lemon juice, juicy white peach, and blackberry. There is a slight salinity on the finish from the blackberry skin.
