The nose is fruity, elegant, deep, textured and offers a lovely fullness, depth and a gastronomic side. There are notes of juicy yellow peach, small crushed white fruits and fine, almost vinous hints, associated with touches of yellow flowers, fresh beeswax and discreet hints of toasted almond. The palate is well-built, fruity, finely sappy, elegant, racy, precise and offers a fine balance on the good bitters, gourmandise, elegance, structure, as well as a good definition. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of quenette, bright medlar and small notes of small pulpy white fruits, combined with touches of beeswax, almond, as well as fine, almost vinous, buttery hints (even pastry-like). A lovely, delicate texture on the finish/persistence. A subtle hint of iodized (in the background) and a discreet tannic hint in both aroma and structure.
