The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers a fine power and a fine freshness. It reveals notes of elderberry, violet and small notes of ripe wild red berries associated with touches of blueberry, licorice, garrigue, tonka bean and Sichuan pepper as well as a very discreet hint of black olive. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a nice suavité, fluidity, a fine tension, a mineral frame as well as a fine acidulous sensation. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, crushed elderberries and small notes of fleshy blackberry associated with small touches of blueberry, violet, zan as well as hints of garrigue, tonka bean, cardamom, blond tobacco and an imperceptible hint of truffle (in the background). Tannins are fine and well-built.
