Terre di San Felice – Passito 2019 – Montefalco Sagrantino

The nose is fruity and offers freshness as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of fig, creamy blackcurrant and small notes of kirsched cherry associated with touches of dried apricot as well as a discreet hint of orangette. The palate is fruity and offers gourmandize, a fine creaminess, fat, a small coating side as well as a fresh/mineral frame that lead the tasting. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy blackcurrant, cherry with kirsch and small notes of crushed blue plum associated with a touch of dried violet fig, apricot as well as a discreet hint almost of date and a subtle hint of hazelnut (in the background). Tannins are taut.
