Terre del barolo Bianco Vinum Vita Est Extra brut 2018 – Alta Langa

Terre del barolo Bianco Vinum Vita Est Extra brut 2018 – Alta Langa

The nose is refined, with a slight hint of vanilla, even of caramel in the background. After aeration, it expresses mineral notes and a touch of medicinal herbs, which are then complemented by aromas of lemon, freshly grated citrus zest, dried citrus zest, and a spicy touch of nutmeg, as well as a sweetiness of orange sabayon, brioche and lemon curd. The palate is gourmand, opened, a bit sweet, but fresh, with notes of infused linden blossom, honey (which is more pronounced on the palate, than on the nose), lemon, grapefruit, lemon zest, pastry cream and lemon yogurt. The finish is salivating, tangy, mineral (limestone) and a bit peppery. A gourmand wine, with slightly sweet notes, which remain fresh, and a good balance.
