The nose offers power, intensity and concentration. There are notes of dense wild cassis, roasted herbs and small notes of black berries associated with touches of violet, fine hints of black cherry, hints of wild red berries as well as hints of Sichuan pepper, black olive and discreet hints of dry soil. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, minerality, a small unctuosity, roundness, matter in precision, an acidulous frame, precision as well as a certain tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy blackberry, fleshy/ juicy raspberry and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of roasted-juicy small red fruits, slight hints of black olive, laurel as well as a discreet hint of torrefaction, dark chocolate and a subtle hint of nutmeg. Suppleness, softness and balance. Freshness. A slightly powedery, textured grain in the mouth. Good length.
