The wine shows a medium ruby colour. The nose is restrained, needs aeration before the service. The nose reveals nuances of blackberries, Mediterranean herbs and a light animalistic touch. The palate is powerful, with moderate acidity, bold, drying tannins, a touch of bitterness. It opens up with notes of ripe black cherries, a touch of blackberries, some black pepper and a hint of roasted meat. A rustic wine that needs time to soften the tannins.
