The nose offers a warm side of macerated and candied fruits (cherry in kirsch, a touch of prunes, cherry jam), fresh fruits (morello cherry, black plum, wild strawberry), a refreshing herbaceous side (bay leaf, Mediterranean herbs), as well as a touch of violet, smoke (in the background) and dried eucalyptus. The palate is juicy, airy and pleasant, with pure fruit. On the attack, it expresses notes of red cherry, morello cherry, black plum and blackberry, which are complemented in the mid-palate by delicate touches of smoke, nutmeg, violet and aromatic herbs (bay leaf, Mediterranean herbs). ), as well as peppermint. The tannins are fine, well structured. The finish is quite persistent, juicy, tangy (nice acidity of red fruits) and slightly peppery (black pepper). A pleasant, airy and gourmand wine.
