Terra Incognita 2020 – Ribera de Duero

The wine shows a medium ruby colour. The nose is fruity and intense, offering exuberant notes of forest berries like black raspberries, bramble and blackberries, a touch of black plums, delicate hints of pungent and sweet spices. The palate is dense and oaky, revealing nuances of vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon which for the moment cover the fruity flavours of forest berries and black cherries. The tannins are sticky, clayey and stick to the gums, they need time to get better integrated. The typical refreshing acidity of Ribera del Duero is present and uplifts the powerful body. Still very young and angular. Astringent finish.
