(organic) The wine has a bright ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers density, freshness and airiness in its fruitiness. It expresses notes of fresh blackcurrant, crushed blueberry, morello cherry, wild strawberry and crushed raspberry, associated with a pronounced sappy note (fresh wood, even pine bark and pine sap), a precise spicy side (nutmeg, cumin, liquorice), as well as quite subtle roasted touches (tangy coffee, cocoa nibs, a hint of toasted hazelnut), wild mint and sage in the background. The palate is chiseled, straight and tangy. On the attack, it expresses notes of blackcurrant, tangy red cherry, raspberry, red currant and wild cherry. We find the sappy hint of pine bark and pine sap, as well as spices (liquorice, nutmeg, black pepper), a tertiary side (undergrowth, dried leaves, tobacco, dried rose) and mineral (dry stone, limestone). The tannins are tight, enveloping and young. The acidity is salivating and helps balance the slightly astringent side of the tannins. Good length on spicy and tertiary touches. Complexity and a certain freshness.
