The nose is fruity, elegant, gourmand and quite intense. It reveals notes of chocolate, juicy blackberry and slight notes of strawberry associated with a hint of redcurrants as well as hints of oak and caramel. The palate is fruity, fat, round, velvety, tight, nicely powerful (well-balanced!) and offers finesse and a nice grain. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry cream, plum and slight notes of red fruits (raspberry, cherry) associated with notes of chocolate, toasted wood, cardamon and slight touches of vanilla. Tannins are fine and integrated. Good length.
