The nose is fresh, elegant and offers a nice definition as well as a certain intensity (but full of elegance). Purity and delicacy, particularly in its power. There are notes of pulpy/ripe cherry, bright Quetsche plum and small notes of small wild fruits associated with touches of star anise and aromatic herbs. The palate is mineral and offers freshness, tension, precision as well as a beautiful intensity full of elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright plum and small notes of juicy/fresh cherry associated with touches of cornflower, tonka bean, star anise as well as a subtle almost fennel/sage hint and balsamic (in the background). Tannins are saline, supple and elegant. Good length. Presence of an almost tonka bean hint, in the background.
