The nose is restrained and spicy and offers a fine hint of volatility. It reveals notes of boysenberry, nutmeg and small notes of sap associated with fine hints of clove. The palate is mineral and offers a certain fat, roundness, a slighty restrained side and a fine tangy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, fleshy/crushed cherry and small notes of small roasted-elegant red fruits associated with touches of cornflower, star anise as well as a hint of tobacco and nutmeg. A very discreet hint of tapenade in the background. Good length. A fine hint of good bitterness in the background.
