Tenuta Ulisse – Nativae 2019 – Montepulciano d’Abruzzo

The nose is elegant and offers precision, a certain concentration, a small complexity . It reveals notes of morello cherry, roasted cassis and small notes of crushed blueberry associated with touches of graphite, liquorice stick as well as slight hints of cornflower, olive tree and a hint of tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral/ acidulous frame, minerality, purity as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of morello cherry, bright purple plum and small notes of roasted small fruits associated with touches of cornflower, roasted raspberry as well as hints of liquorice stick, discreet hints of sweet blond tobacco and hints of almond. A beautiful sapid, energetic and gourmand finish. Delicious tannins. Beautiful  juiciness and minerality/ gourmandize. Freshness.
