The nose offers concentration, power, a certain deepness, a certain small darkness/infusion side as well as a beautiful racy and relatively powerful grain. It reveals notes of bright Boysenberry, crushed strawberry and small notes of roasted small fruits associated with touches of blue plum, badian, black olive as well as discreet hints of sweet spices and a subtle hint of vanilla. The palate is gourmand and offers juiciness, fat, suavity, an acidulous frame, energy, fullness as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of bright Bigarreau cherry associated with touches of roasted strawberry as well as hints of cornflower, Bourbon vanilla and cardamom. A small chew and gourmandize. The finish is sapid. Chewy and delicious tannins.
