The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers power, a fine concentration/intensity, a fine grain as well as a fine complexity. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, ripe black cherry, liquorice as well as very discreet hints of cola, Cuben pepper as well as an imperceptible almost saline hints and a very discreet hint of sense of the place (grass/local flowers). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, a beautiful juiciness, a good definition as well as gourmandize, a very fine creaminess, finess, freshness as well as richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with fine touches of plum, liquorice, chocolate, tea as well as a subtle hint of caramelization and tonka bean (in the background). Tannins are elegant and structuring. Good length.
