The nose is fruity and offers with a certain complexity. There are notes of blackberry, roasted thyme and, more slightly, roasted cherry combined with delicate touches of strawberry as well as fine hints of star anise, blueberry and a subtle touch of vanilla. The palate is fresh, with balanced minerality, juiciness, good definition, purity, linearity and a nice salinity/suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fresh plum, tart/crisp strawberry and more lightly roasted, combined with powdery mocha/cocoa and a hint of juicy red berry fruit as well as a fine touch of violet and toasted almond, a very discreet hint of thyme in the background. Concentration and dark. Good length.
