Tenuta Meraviglia – Vigna Pianali 2020 – Bolgheri

The nose is aromatic and offers fruit, spices, a certain deepness as well as an airy and powerful texture. It reveals notes of wild cassis and small notes of balsamic combined with fine touches of Madagascar pepper, a discreet hint of green pepper, coffee, star anise, and a hint of saline/iodine. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, minerality, a good definition, precision, acidity as well as a relatively tight and taut structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild cassis, wild blackberry and small notes of raspberry associated with touches of tangy wild small fruits as well as hints of roasted fruits, fine toasted hints, nutmeg and a hint of cocoa. Tannins are finely mellow. Good length. Freshness, juiciness and fruit.
