Tenuta Madre – Vigna Carrani 2019 – Taurasi Dop

The nose is fruity, aromatic which offers a certain gourmandise, elegance and a certain depth. It expresses the notes of morello cherry, crushed blackberry and, more slightly, balsamic associated with touches of crushed raspberry, prickly pear, sense of place and has a very discreet almost citrus hint in the background. The mouth is fruity and offers brightness, a certain purity, some fattiness, a pretty delicacy in the substance and a fine aerial side. It expresses notes of morello cherry, prickly pear and, more slightly, crushed currants associated with touches of balsamic, delicate hints of sage, sense of place and a subtle hint almost camphor and smoke. Good length. The tannins are soft and sapid.
