Tenuta l’Illuminata –  Barolo DOCG 2015 Riserva Sant’Anna, La Morra, Sant’Anna

The nose is flowery, aromatic and offers a small concentration, a fine intensity very discreetly tight in its richness. It reveals notes of rose, lilac and more slightly blackberry associated with touches of oleander as well as hints of red berries, black tea and a discreet hint of licorice. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, juiciness, a certain controlled richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / crushed raspberry, small red berries and more slightly of rose associated with touches of violet, lilac as well as hints of rosewood, laurel, pulpy boysen blackberry. / juicy and with subtle hints of liquorice. The tannins are precise and discreetly firm.
