Tenuta Liliana – Ladame, Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 – Salento IGT

The nose is fruity, elegant, gourmand, beautifully delicate, textured and offers depth as well as a certain richness in finesse. There are notes of fairly ripe/bright blackcurrant, small bright fruits and small notes of blueberry associated with touches of fairly ripe/crushed small red fruits, fine hints of spices, a hint of balsamic as well as an imperceptible hint of dry grove and almost fig. The palate is beautifully fresh/juicy, beautifully mineral and offers tension, accuracy, a tangy frame, a lovely fresh texture as well as a certain power in richness/elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/gourmet cassis, crushed black berries and small notes of fig associated with a touch of roasted red berries as well as fine hints of smoke, star anise, a subtle hint of nutmeg, toasted almond and a discreet hint of crushed black olive. The tannins are supple, sapid and elegant. Good length. Beautifully delicate in its silkiness and in its delicacy. Congratulations!
