The nose is fruity, sappy and offers a floral side, with good definition, a certain intensity and depth. The wine benefits from decanting. It reveals notes of fresh cherry, violet, iris and small notes of roasted wild strawberry, associated with touches of small blue berries, as well as fine hints of infusion. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, mineral, elegant and offers good definition, a tangy frame, precision, a little tension, darkness, depth and gourmandise. On the palate, there are lovely notes of fresh cherry and small fairly ripe (but balanced) red fruits, combined with floral, racy/terroir and sweet spice touches, as well as a hint of pulpy blueberry, liquorice, as well as fine hints of infusion, black tea and a discreet hint of salt in the background. Good length. Precision.
