The nose is racy and offers a certain power, a fine grain, powerful and airy, offering a certain complexity. It reveals notes of boysenberry, pulpy cassis and small notes of small roasted-elegant red berries associated with delicate hints of cherry pit, star anise, tobacco and a subtle, almost balsamic hint. The palate is well-built, fresh, mineral and racy and offers a good definition, precision, suavity and a mineral frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of boysenberry, bigarreau cherry and small notes of small roasted-elegant fruits associated with touches of cornflower, crushed blue plum as well as hints of tobacco, star anise and a subtle, almost sappy hint in the background. It also offers a hint of zan and black olive. A wine that needs time and offers a hint of chocolate on the persistence. Tannins are racy, mellow and structuring.
