Ruby red tending towards violet, lively. On the nose very dark, loaded notes of violet, blackberry and spices. The taste is mellow, dense with matter, a little contracted with some wood still to be disposed of. Fleshy, with iron tips and an aftertaste reminiscent of blueberries and violet flowers.
