Tenuta il Nespolo 2021 – Nizza

The wine has a ruby color of medium to deep intensity. The nose offers concentration in freshness, beautiful fruity material, juiciness and depth, as well as a distinct herbaceous (especially roasted and dried herbs) and spicy hint. It expresses notes of wild strawberry, juicy blackberry, crushed blueberry, fresh blackcurrant, morello cherry and juicy black plum, associated with a gourmet hint of chocolate morello cherry. The second nose offers herbaceous freshness (wild mint, eucalyptus in the background, rosemary in syrup, pine needles in the background), as well as gourmet and sweet roasted notes (toasted hazelnut with a hint of praline, vanilla, even coconut, dark chocolate, coffee with milk). There is also a savoury notesof sweet spices (licorice, vanilla, nutmeg). The palate offers tension, accuracy, a frank and tangy attack, with a good bitterness of bird cherry, wrapped in a gourmet fruity side (morello cherry, tangy blackcurrant, blueberry, wild strawberry, raspberry). We also find notes of roasting (coffee, dark chocolate, toasted hazelnut, a sweet hint of praline) and fresh aromatic herbs (thyme, rosemary, wild mint, pine needles). The finish is persistent, on finesse and notes of delicate sweet spices (licorice, nutmeg), as well as a good bitterness. The tannins are firm, slightly grippy, structured and sapid. The acidity is salivating and gourmet, with distinct flavors of tangy red cherry and cranberries. Beautiful delicacy on the nose, complemented by the tangy and fresh palate.
