The nose reveals notes of leather, cherry and slight notes of rose and black fruit combined with hints of tobacco, small animal notes and notes of undergrowth in the background. The mouth is gourmand, fresh, mineral, finer, more precise, more opulent and fruitier than the Cuvée Annata 2007. In the mouth it expresses notes of blackberry, cherry, plum and black fruit combined with a few slight notes of wood (in the background) and a touch of licorice. The tannins are firm. Good length.
