Tenuta Gorghi Tondi – Dumè 2021 – Sicilia DOC

The nose is elegant, racy, precise and reveals a fine linearity, a certain complexity in its depth and freshness. There are notes of violet, cherry blossom and, more slightly, crisp plum, combined with fine touches of bright cherry, discreet hints of fresh raspberry and a subtle hint of lily, crushed blackcurrant and liquorice. The palate is fruity, balanced and reveals a nice harmony / delicacy, freshness, minerality, good definition, a certain gourmandize, a nice roundness and volume. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright cherry and slightly brighter plum, combined with delicate touches of flowers, as well as fine hints of liquorice, sweet blond tobacco and a discreet touch of Bourbon vanilla. Tannins are supple.
