Tenuta di Sesta – Poggio d’Arna 2022 – Toscana IGT

The nose is nicely aromatic, with a certain depth, power and a good definition. It reveals notes of small black berries, pepper and small notes of violets, associated with touches of small roasted-elegant red fruits, as well as a fine hint of cornflower, fennel and discreet hints of olive leaf in the background. The palate is deep, mineral, with a tangy frame, precision, suppleness, a good definition, energy and a fine crunchy side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, fleshy violet plum and small notes of small blue fruits associated with touches of small red berries as well as hints of sage, rosemary, olive leaf and a hint of Penja pepper and local grove. Tannins are finely mellow and offer gourmandise.
