The nose is fruity and offers elegance, precision and a certain deepness. It reveals notes of violet, lilac/lily and slight incense associated with touches of blackberry, fairly ripe blackcurrant, hints of varietal freshness as well as discreet hints of saffron, pulpy cherry, with a very discreet hint of star anise and olive tree. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame, minerality, a good definition, a certain gourmandize, energy as well as a small electric side in its acidity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, bright redcurrants and small notes of violet/fresh flowers associated with touches of fresh red berries, a discreet hint of roasted as well as a subtle hint of star anise and olive tree. Good length. A good work on the good bitters. Beautiful sapidity and energy on the finish/persistence
