The wine has a medium intensity ruby color with garnet reflections. The nose is refined, subtle, with freshness, complexity and delicate tertiary aromas. It expresses in particular notes of dry tobacco, faded rose, wet leaves and undergrowth, associated with a savoury spiciness (nutmeg, cloves, liquorice, coriander seeds), with a resinous touch of pine sap and dry pine needles, with a fine floral (peony, dried rose, violet) and herbaceous (dried mint, dried basil, dried thyme) hints, wrapped in a beautiful fruitiness, with youthful and gourmet touches (ripe morello cherry, roasted red cherry, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, crushed blackcurrant, redcurrant jelly). On the palate, the wine offers depth, juiciness and gourmandise, with a beautiful tannic structure. It expresses notes of wild strawberry, ripe morello cherry, crushed blackcurrant, roasted red cherry, crushed raspberry, redcurrant jelly, as well as herbaceous freshness (wild mint, thyme, rosemary, basil), floral notes (dried rose, violet, peony) and an enveloped tertiary notes(dry tobacco, undergrowth, wilted rose, wet leaves), as well as delicate spicy notes (liquorice, coriander seeds, nutmeg). Beautiful persistence on the palate, with a pleasant bitterness of coffee, bergamot and bitter chocolate, with lively acidity and good bitterness. The tannins are firm, but velvety and well constructed.
